Hello, my name is Janice Castro and I am Jamie's mother. I am asking for help for legal fees to retain an attorney for emergency guardianship, as well as traveling expenses, as I reside in N.C., and he in Ohio. Several days ago a couple of videos were circulating on social media of my son being physically abused by staff members. I posted the news coverage and a picture of myself and Jamie when he first initially went into the states care.

A little back story of Jamie. I share 2 kids with Jamie's dad. Years ago Trumbull County Courts separated my children and Jamie was awarded to his dad. This is the time I relocated to N.C. Several years ago Jamie wandered off from family, which is how the state became involved. No one notified me of any of this. By the time I caught wind of the situation I I rushed to Ohio and tried to take this before the Judge, only to be told "No". I have tried for years to get my son here to N.C.

I have contacted numerous agencies, over the years, only to be told that I have to contact his guardian, which I have, many times . Every time I asked for my son, the answer was "No".
