This year, in March, our beautiful mum lost her battle with cancer. Watching her go through that journey changed our life’s forever.

As her illness progressed, Mum became very withdrawn from society. She didn’t want to leave the house, even though we know she longed for comfort, connection, and healing. It broke our hearts to see how isolated she became — not because she wanted to, but because the world felt too heavy and exhausting for her to face.

That’s where this dream was born.

We want to create a “Healing Van” — a safe, serene, mobile sanctuary that comes directly to cancer patients at their own homes.

This Van will be designed as a sterile, calming environment where patients can receive free Reiki healing sessions, gentle complementary therapies, and in the future, other supportive treatments. The goal is to bring light, peace, and human connection to people who may feel too unwell, too vulnerable, or too isolated to seek it outside their own door.

✨ Why this matters:

• Cancer can make people feel cut off from the world.

• Many patients crave comfort and healing, but simply cannot face going out.

• Our mum would have loved this. We know countless others will too.

This Healing Van will give patients dignity, peace, and a chance to feel seen, supported, and cared for.

But we cannot do this alone.

We are asking for your support to help make this vision a reality — from buying and fitting out the Van, to creating a professional, healing environment where patients feel safe and nurtured. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to touching the lives of so many people who desperately need it.

This is more than a project.
