A Miracle of Survival: Help Kyrie Recover & Rebuild

On Saturday, our family experienced something no parent ever wants to receive — a phone call saying their child had been in a terrible car accident.

My son, Kyrie, had traveled to San Antonio to support his little sister at her football tournament. While driving home, another vehicle ran him off the road and kept going. Kyrie’s car rolled six times and was completely totaled.

By the grace of God, Kyrie survived.

Considering the condition of the vehicle, we truly believe God had His hands over him that night. Although we are beyond thankful that he is alive, Kyrie now faces a long and painful recovery journey ahead.

Kyrie suffered a fractured neck, a pneumothorax (collapsed lung), and severe pain throughout his body, especially in his neck, back, and hips. He is currently recovering at home and must wear a neck brace for the next 6–8 weeks. Because of his injuries, he is unable to work during this time.

Kyrie is only 25 years old and works as a heavy machinery mechanic/technician — a physically demanding job that he cannot safely return to while healing. Unfortunately, he does not have short-term disability benefits, which means there will be no income coming in while he recovers.

To make matters even more difficult, Kyrie and his wife, Jada, are expecting their baby in July. As they prepare to welcome their child into the world, they are now also facing mounting medical bills, household expenses, and the loss of reliable transportation after his car was destroyed in the accident.

We are asking for help to ease some of the financial burden during this difficult season so Kyrie can focus on healing and being there for his growing family.

Any donation, no matter the amount, will go toward:

* Medical expenses
* Monthly household bills
* Transportation needs
* Recovery support while Kyrie is unable to work

If you are unable to donate, please keep Kyrie, Jada, and their unborn baby in your prayers and share this fundraiser with others.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, support, prayers, and generosity. We are grateful that Kyrie is still here with us, and we trust God to continue carrying him through his healing journey.
