Help Felix Keep Moving – Support Our Miracle Story
Felix Correa is a fighter. Before he was even born, doctors told my sister to prepare for the worst. They predicted he wouldn’t survive more than two weeks past birth due to his diagnosis of Muscular Dystrophy.
Today, 16 years later, Felix continues to amaze the very doctors and nurses who saw him at the start. Living with both Muscular Dystrophy and Autism, Felix has faced every hurdle with a strength that inspires everyone around him.
For years, our family has navigated these challenges independently, never asking for extra support. However, we have reached a crossroads where we can no longer do this alone. Earlier this year, Felix’s wheelchair-accessible van—his only lifeline to the world—was involved in a collision. While we are grateful Felix is safe, the vehicle is unfixable.
The Need:
Insurance has only partially covered the loss. We now face the daunting task of purchasing a new vehicle and, more importantly, funding a WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) Conversion.
Felix has critical medical appointments at a hospital over an hour away. Without this specialized van, he is effectively stranded, unable to safely access the care he needs. We are raising funds to cover:
The remaining cost of a reliable vehicle.
The professional conversion (ramps and safety tie-downs).
Felix’s life has been a story of miracles. We are asking you to be part of his next one. Any contribution—no matter the size—will go directly toward getting Felix back on the road and back to his appointments.
