- As most of you may or may not know my dad Mick Anderson passed away in July. He l was a hard working man all his life until the last few years when his mental health deteriorated from an alcohol related disease which susequently led to him falling on hard times.!
- He found himself homeless and this amazing charity came to his aid. Offering support in the way of hot food, compassion and friendship, when he had lost his way and in need.
- Life can change for us all in the blink of an eye. I too have struggled with mental health and turned to alcohol and want to do something in my dads memory! Make him proud and turn things around myself. I plan to run 1 million meters between the 5th November to 25 of June 2026 which is my dad's (Micks birthday). My mum and Auntie will be joining and supporting me in making a difference. If you would like to support me too I’m raising money to benefit The Matthew 25.
