Michael Edward Bakeberg was born on January 26th, 2007 to Brian and Judy Bakeberg in Brainerd Minnesota and passed away on February 4, 2024 in New Waverly, Texas at 17 years old.
Michael attended Klein Oak High School before switching to Penn Foster online High School.
Michael worked at Spring Creek Feed Store in Magnolia, Texas.
Michael loved nature! Hunting, fishing, camping, beach time, and kayaking were his therapy; he loved it all. He loved to tear apart and rebuild anything he could get his hands on, like his 4-wheeler, but mostly his trucks. He was an old soul who loved old things, simple things and simple times. It was as if he was born in the wrong era. He loved sharing everything with his family and best friends, but he also loved his alone time. The gym and his job were his favorite past times; mainly because they both helped build up his muscles and he liked to flex his strength.
He could make anyone laugh, even at the worst of times, but oh man, the jokes with his dad and brother were the best and most inappropriate. Dido was the best role model to his sister. The connection they “have” is like no other. He is the best big brother anyone could have; from teaching both Parker and Eleanor how to ride bikes, to sharing his love of music and snacks, to giving them rides and just spending time together watching shows and movies. He loved to spoil his Mama; always buying her flowers and gifts, but mostly chocolates. He always shared his hard earned money with everyone and was the most respectful, responsible, giving teenager this world will ever know. He will forever be 17.
Michael is survived by his parents Brian and Judy, siblings; Parker(12) and Eleanor(8), his dog Karl, grandparents Ralph and Patty Bakeberg, Bruce and Kelly Sawyer, aunts; Cassandra (Ron) Dulinski, Angel (Mitch) Carlson, uncle Arlen Sawyer, and cousins; Brooklyn Bakeberg, Landon Carlson, Austin Carlson and Brandilynn Baysinger, and so many other family and friends.
