A Mama’s Heart - Adoption

A precious, medically fragile foster baby
was placed in my daughter Chantalle’s
arms a few months ago. He has stolen our
hearts from the moment we met him.  

We have, from the beginning, prayed for
guidance. We have prayed for the healing
of his biological family. We have prayed
that we would set our own feelings aside
and that this amazing little person would
be blessed with an environment in a
permanent home that would give him
his best life possible -  even if that meant
his placement with Chantalle was only
temporary. 

With all of the information that we have to date, and with everything within us, we
believe his best chance of thriving in life is
to remain in the nurturing and loving arms
and home of Chantalle. 

We have confidence in the current judge
presiding over the case, but we have also
been advised to retain a family
law attorney to increase the likelihood of
permanent placement and adoption
approval. 

There are too many variables to have an
accurate estimate of what these fees may
be at this time. Chantalle is a middle school teacher and a single parent. 

Please consider contributing funds to
cover legal costs. If more is raised than
needed, at your request, excess funds will
be returned. Otherwise, all excess funds
will be used for his ongoing care or
donated to a charity associated with
foster children and/or adoption.

More than ANYTHING, your prayers for
this little one are especially appreciated!
