Hello my name is Rashda, I have created this fundraiser on behalf of a close friends family who need urgent help with legal fees due to the distressing situation they are in and to prevent an injustice taking place.

Their son is going through an extremely difficult and distressing split after experiencing years of domestic abuse from his wife.

Her outbursts of rage only got worse and her abuse became more apparent to his family and friends as it wasn't just behind closed doors any more.

Her manipulative, controlling and aggressive behaviours continued after he found the courage to leave his home.

His ex has now violated the child arrangement order put in place by a judge and is keeping his child from him to lash out and punish him further for leaving.

Now he hasn't seen his daughter who he loves dearly in over half a year, and had to miss her birthday and holidays, with no contact or telephone calls because of the behaviours of his ex.

His daughter has also gone through untold emotional distress by not being able to see her father. A father who she loves dearly and who has been an important part of her life since she was born. He is heartbroken.

There are little, to no support systems in place for men who are victims of domestic abuse so we are asking for your help. The legal fees are expensive, family courts are slow moving and this is overall a very stressful time for him and his family, who are doing their best to support him during this difficult time.

He has used up all his savings in his battle to see his daughter and borrowed money from his family and friends to pay legal expenses. However because she is delaying and dragging things in family court, the legal bills are increasing and he has exhausted and used up the money he had available to him.

The family now need extra help and we are appealing to everyone to donate anything you can please, however little it is to help him be reunited with his daughter, the love, laughter and light of his life.
