On Sunday, 4th May a tragic housefire burnt part of the ground floor of a Hanwell terraced house. The elderly resident has returned to his home, much of which is unlivable. The William Hobbayne Charity, which help local residents in need, hardship and distress are purchasing some essential items such as a new sofa, bed, bedding and clothes but there's still more that can be done to provide him comfort in this distressing time. We know Hanwell always rises to the challenge of supporting each other so we're reaching out to the community to help. The proceeds will go towards clearing out of the damaged furnishings, cleaning the areas that were damanged in the fire and some redecorating.
