Hello everyone,

I never thought I’d be in this position, but our family is going through a very difficult time, and we need a little help to get back on our feet.

Recently, we lost our home and are currently staying in a motel while trying to find something more stable for our family of five. Unfortunately, I became very sick with pneumonia after being exposed to mold at my workplace. Because of the illness, I wasn’t able to return to work quickly enough and was eventually let go. I was denied workers comp, FMLA, and medical leave, which left us without an income during my recovery.

My husband works hard, but his income alone isn’t enough to cover the motel, medical expenses, food, and gas for our family. We’ve tried applying for various forms of assistance but have been denied or delayed. Right now, our biggest need is help covering motel costs, so we don’t end up without a roof over our heads, along with basic needs like food and fuel.
