Please read below to know what we are fighting for...

Everyone knows me as Joseph's mom where ever we go because Joe is such a smart and charismatic young man. Many of you may not know this, but Joseph also has high functioning autism and some differences in learning that his school refuses to accommodate. They are trying to send him to a program with autistic students who do not speak and are not on the same level he is cognitively, which will stunt his ability to attend the right HS and eventually the college of his choice. 

We need these funds to secure a lawyer that is well known in this field to make the school district do what is right. And we need these funds as soon as possible to get the ball rolling on his case. We need our family and friends who know and love Joe, to chip in to help us pay for the lawyer necessary for this fight! Joseph needs rigor, but he also needs social and educational supports that only a school that specializes in special education can offer.

Joseph wants to be an engineer. The program he is being railroaded into doesn't even have stats on how many of their children go to college or even are on a HS diploma track!
