Dear Friends and Family,

Melissa has been one of my greatest and most trusting friend for the past 12 years, to many others it has been longer. She always has a shoulder to cry on, provide the best advice, and be there when I need her the most. Without her in my life, I would have been lost several times. A friend like her is irreplaceable and I would do anything for her. It was just a matter of time before she met someone just as loving as her to stand by her side. That special guy is Benny Arevalo .

Benny and Melissa have been lovingly together for 13 years, they have been blessed with great friends and family. In my eyes they are a power couple. They overcome all obstacles that come their way and give each other the greatest support to lift up. Not once have they've said no to their friends and overly committed to helping us when needed. They never ask for anything in return because they genuinely care about their friends and family.

I always knew Melissa would be a great mother by the way she warms up to children. The way she holds my babies and gives them endless loves means the world. I continue to pray to God to bless them with a child of their own. Unfortunately, her journey has not been as easy as others. Many of you have heard their fertility struggle for the past 7 years and the medical procedures in the last 4 years. It has been an emotional roller coast for the both of them. About 3 years ago, Melissa had surprised Benny with a positive test result. To them it was like winning the lottery. They were both crying with joy, feeling blessed, and eager to start a new journey. All of that excitement quickly vanished when they took an actual test at the doctor's office when they were told it was a false positive. This was truly a though period in their lives. Nothing was working and they felt helpless. Together they overcame this and picked up where they left. They will not give up just yet and that's why they are taking a chance at IVF.

IVF is a complex series of procedures used to help with fertility and assist with the conception of a child. Melissa and Benny would have a 50% chance of conceiving a child. Along with the complex procedure comes the hefty medical expense they would both have to pay up front. If I had the funds readily available I would give it to them no questions asked. I know they would love their child to the moon and back. They will protect that child and give him/her the best life. I am asking for everyone to support Melissa and Benny in this new journey. Together we can help them take care of this as they helped all of us at one point in our lives.
