Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

I hope this letter finds you in good spirits. As I sit down to write, I am filled with gratitude for the countless ways life has show me the transformative power of grace. I reflect on how seemingly random occurrences have proven to be moments of divine synchronizations, guided by a higher power. Only by surrendering to faith and trusting in God's plan AND timing, I finally understand that "everything happens for a reason."

Through these 40 blessed years of struggle, I have found peace and salvation but the world still throws obstacles at us.

I come to you, now, with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit, as my family faces an uphill battle filled with unexpected challenges and blessings. I’m reaching out to ask for your support in securing an electric vehicle (EV) for our family—something we desperately need as we navigate this precious yet difficult chapter in our lives.

It all began when my wife, pregnant with our daughter, faced complications during her pregnancy. At just 22 weeks gestation, our little miracle was on the verge of an early delivery. For three exhausting weeks, my son and I stayed with my wife in the hospital, where we found solace and joy in the simplest things—even the commercials we watched during the Olympics. Those commercials showcased electric vehicles, and my son and I became captivated by the idea of a cleaner, greener future. Little did we know how much we would come to rely on the very concept of sustainability during a time of unimaginable trials.

With the grace of God and the extraordinary care from the angels at the children's hospital, our daughter was born, and we are so thankful for this precious gift. Yet, in the midst of this miracle, our journey has not been easy. As stress took a toll on our family, both my wife and I experienced accidents in our vehicles—sleep-deprived and overwhelmed, we crashed both of our cars. Our transportation options dwindled, but our determination to be with our daughter soared.

I once held my dream job, working toward environmental sustainability and helping our world thrive. However with the current strains of the market, I was laid off. While this loss has weighed heavily on my heart, I find solace in the fact that I now have precious moments to spend with my micro-preemie daughter and our energetic two-year-old son. Yet, with this new reality comes financial strain.

Our family’s need for an electric vehicle has become urgent. With gas prices rising, each trip to visit our daughter, who is receiving intensive care, adds additional stress to our already challenging situation. An EV would not only alleviate some of the financial burden but also allow us to stay connected while promoting sustainable choices—something my son and I hold dear.

Now, I humbly ask for your support. Every contribution, no matter how small, will inch us closer to acquiring an electric vehicle that will help keep our family united during this journey. You can help us drive towards healing, hope, and togetherness.
