Hope can travel far, and I am grateful to carry a little of it with me. I am preparing for a Nursing Outreach trip to Costa Rica to serve refugees and families facing extreme poverty through the Corner of Love Relief Center. Many have fled dangerous conditions and are struggling to survive without food, clean water, clothing, or healthcare.
Growing up in a developing country, I understand how deeply poverty affects families. Those experiences shaped my heart and inspired me to serve with empathy and compassion. Supporting refugees in Costa Rica feels personal because I know how meaningful even small acts of kindness can be.
As a nursing student, I will help provide health assessments, basic treatments, medications, hygiene supplies, baby items, clothing, and other essentials to people who are suffering the most. My goal is to bring dignity, comfort, and care to those often forgotten in crisis. Your support will help provide food, medicine, hygiene kits, and essential items to families who have lost everything.
Your kindness can bring hope and healing to people facing unimaginable hardship. Thank you so much for supporting this mission and helping make a real difference in Costa Rica.
Thank you!
Gauri Sapkota
