My name is Angel, and I’m raising funds to help my mom as she faces the final stages of her life in hospice care. Our relationship has been complicated—she left when I was just 11, and for many years, we were separated by choices and circumstances that were out of my control. Despite the pain and distance, I recently saw her for the first time in 15 years. That moment reminded me that, no matter what, everyone deserves compassion and dignity at the end of their journey.
My mom struggled with addiction for much of her life, and our family has faced many challenges because of it. I know some people might question why I’m stepping in now, but I believe that how we respond to life’s hardships shapes who we are. I want to make sure that any support given truly goes toward her care—whether it’s for hospice needs, end-of-life arrangements, or simply ensuring she is treated with respect in her final days. I don’t trust others in my family to handle this, but I am committed to using every donation responsibly and transparently.
Forgiving my mom has taken a lot of courage, and I hope to have the chance to tell her in person that she is loved and forgiven. I believe everyone deserves to feel loved before they leave this world, no matter their past. A proper burial may not seem deserved to some, but I want to do what’s right in the eyes of compassion and faith. Your support will help me honor her life in a way that reflects forgiveness, love, and dignity.
