A is for Answers - Affordable Diagnostic Testing
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Charlotte Burton, and I am about to graduate with a Master's degree to become an Educational Diagnostician. I will legally be able to perform testing for a wide variety of things, including learning disabilities, giftedness, autism, ADHD, and some emotional disabilities, for children and adults. While my qualifications will not be enough to grant you access to medical interventions through the diagnosis, it will be enough to allow you to access accommodations at school and work. I want to offer these services not just to the students at public schools where I work, but also to homeschooling students and adults, who may not have access to the diagnostician at their local public school.
My goal is to offer free or "pay what you want" diagnostic services to homeschooling families and adults who suspect they may be neurodivergent but may not be able to access diagnostic services in other ways. By the end of May 2023, I will be able to provide paperwork for students to take to college in order to get their accommodations there, as well as provide ADA paperwork for adults to present at work in order to get accommodations there.
Every cent I raise through this page will go towards this goal, to help me buy diagnostic testing kits, which will allow me to provide a better understanding and more precise diagnoses to a greater number of people.
