Support AICH Socials & Culture

Story

Indian Health Service has decided to stop funding AICH services. The nonprofit status of AICH remains viable and AICH will continue hosting monthly programming and events, as well as socials. This will allow for greater flexibility and the chance for co-sponsoring a wider range of Native programs. The Wellbriety support group will continue as usual on Monday evenings from 6:00-9:00 pm, as well as the Monday drum group and occasional beading circles. AICH will also host community socials on the third Wednesday of every month starting in July 19, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 pm. Please join us for a community forum to discuss the continuation of AICH as an all volunteer agency.Founded in 1969, the American Indian Community House mission is to improve and promote the well-being of the American Indian community and to increase the visibility of American Indian cultures in an urban setting in order to cultivate awareness, understanding and respect. As we continue to go through our transition we are requesting your assistance with funding. We would like to continue having our weekly cultural activities and monthly socials. Please consult www.aich.org for updates.
