Help a Father Rebuild His Family’s Financial Future

I am a 55 year old IT professional, a husband, and a father of two wonderful children, ages 8 and 10. My family is my greatest motivation, and everything I have worked for has always been with their future in mind.

Two years ago, I lost my job. I genuinely believed that, with my experience and years in the IT field, I would find another position relatively quickly. I never expected that my age would make finding new opportunities so difficult.

Since then, I have faced financial challenges that have been extremely difficult to overcome.

I want to be completely honest about how I reached this point. Some of the financial difficulties I am experiencing are the result of poor decisions I made while trying to do what I believed was best for my family. Unfortunately, those decisions eventually led to debt with interest rates that have become more than I can realistically manage.

I am beginning to earn some income again, and I am doing everything I can to move forward. But the burden of this debt continues to make it difficult to regain financial stability and provide my family with the peace and security they deserve.

Asking for help is not something I ever imagined I would have to do. It is difficult and honestly embarrassing for me to share this part of my life publicly. But as a father, I have to put my pride aside and do what I can to create a better situation for my children.
