Brethren continue in love. Be kind to strangers. For some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Hebrews 13:1
This is about my friend, Linda Tucker Randall and her son Tyler.
This is their story.
Due to complications at birth, Tyler has cerebral palsy, at age 27, he’s developmentally about 4-5 yrs old and unable to walk.
In 2015 Tyler started having seizures again and had to have a shunt in his head replaced, resulting in a staph infection in his brain. After that was cleared up he did better for a while but in May of 2015 the seizures began again. Linda took him to the ER, as soon as she got him there he suffered a stroke, and was transferred and admitted to University of Mississippi Medical Center, in Jackson, MS. He was there, in and out of a coma for about 2 yrs. In 2017 he was transferred to a nursing/rehab in Vicksburg, MS.
He is not doing well in the nursing home and has been in and out of the hospital with pneumonia and other serious conditions.
When Linda took him to the ER that day, Tyler had no idea he would never be able to go back to his home.
Linda stays with him as much as she can, sometimes having to sleep in her car. Their home is in Meridian, MS. Keep in mind Vicksburg is on the state line on the west, Meridian is on the state line on the east. Vicksburg has the only Rehab/Nursing facility they could find that could take him, because he has had a feeding tube since the stroke.
Tyler has been away from home for over 2 1/2 yrs.
When Linda does come home, the house is literally falling in. It is unsafe for her to live in, and she can’t let Tyler come back to it. The floors have fallen in from water damage, termites and age. The roof was ruined by tree limbs that keep falling through it. Windows are falling out because of the rotting foundation. Vandals broke in and destroyed what they could, just for meanness. The house is a complete loss, and should be condemned, but this is the only place she has to call home.
Linda is handicapped and in poor health caused by the conditions she is living in. Tyler’s dad died in an auto accident several years ago. Linda has done the best she could since, without asking for help, but she has reached the breaking point and knows she can’t fix this alone. They need help. Tyler is getting better and stronger and she has no home to take him to.
Please help us help them.
These people are not in a foreign country, they are here in the USA. They are real. They are crying out for your help. This man/child and his mama need a home. With your help we hope to get them a safe, clean, healthy home, where they can be together.

For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.
