Hi, I'm Elijah Thornburg. Nice to meet y'all. I'm kind of scared to express myself today, but here we go. I'm 17, I have a mother but no father. My mother does her hardest for us. I have a baby girl named Layanie; she's 3 months old.

I'm here because I'm really in need of help. I've been trying my hardest to find a job. I went to a handful of interviews within my area, and they're just not hiring me. My momma and I come from Louisiana, and we've been through things our whole life, and nothing is getting better.

I really just want to have my own bed and have a roof so I can have my mom and my daughter somewhere to sleep. So please help us with money for an apartment. Thank y'all and God bless the ones who care and donate, and still bless the ones that don't!
