In a modest, crumbling house, a grandmother is raising her four grandchildren all by herself, after their parents were tragically killed in a horrific car accident. She makes superhuman efforts to keep them afloat on a tiny pension, but the hardships are overwhelming them day by day.
When I visited them, my heart broke. The children are living without electricity and without hot water. A warm meal has become a luxury for them, and the little ones desperately need clothes, shoes, and school supplies.
When I asked the grandmother how I could help her, her response left me speechless. She asked for absolutely nothing for herself:
"I don't need anything for myself. I just want my grandchildren to have what they need, so they won't go hungry or cold. They are all I have left in this world."
I personally helped with what I could, but their needs are far too great for just one person. Seeing such deep suffering borne with so much dignity moved me to tears, which is why I am begging you not to look away.
Let's join forces and change their lives! Every little bit helps—non-perishable food, clothes, school supplies, or a small financial donation to help this grandmother secure their tomorrow.
These children deserve a chance at a normal childhood
