A helping hand for chiefs recovery

Donation protected
Today, I faced one of the hardest moments of my life. My dog Chief, my best friend of nine years, suddenly became very sick — he wasn’t being himself — so much so that I walked into the vet’s office thinking I might have to say goodbye. But after running several tests and giving him fluids, they discovered he has Lyme disease. (likely from a tick bite)
The good news is there’s hope for a full recovery if we caught it in time — without any hesitation, I used whatever money I had in checking and emptied my entire savings to get him the treatment he needed.. Seeing him eat again today for the first time in a week gave me so much hope … but now I’m left trying to figure out how to keep things afloat for my family. I don’t regret a single dollar spent to save Chief, but I’m asking for help to cover the essentials — groceries, bills, and basic needs — while we get through the next couple weeks. As well as helping fund a second vet visit they’re requesting in a weeks time. Anything helps. Thank you for reading and supporting us during this unexpected and emotional time.
