Small family going through a very difficult time. My spouse was diagnosed with cancer, round two, earlier this year. He has already undergone surgery to have the first round removed, and was cancer-free for 5 years before this. We were terrified and devastated to hear that it hadn't helped. The treatments have drained our savings both in medical fees and in lost work time. Today, he called out due to intense exhaustion and nausea from the treatment, and was promptly fired. We were barely making ends meet before. He is already attempting to find work, but we are asking for a little help to get us through. We don't live outside our means, but this year has been unreasonably unkind. Our little one just turned two. Please know that we are not typically the kind of people to ask for help like this, but we've been kicked down too many times and could just use a little hand getting back up.
