A Heartfelt Legacy: Help Create Rob’s Place

Since 1981, I have dedicated my life to caring for others. Throughout my career in care service delivery and managing a care business, my sickness record remained nearly impeccable. However, in November 2025, I received the devastating news that I have incurable stage 4 pancreatic cancer, prompting me to begin palliative chemotherapy.

Before I leave this life, I aspire to raise funds to purchase a small hotel by the sea, aptly named **Rob’s Place**. This establishment will serve as a sanctuary for those who are terminally ill, providing respite for them and their carers in a peaceful seaside setting.

I envision “Rob’s Place”operating as a non-profit charity or small business, ensuring that those in need can access a serene retreat with minimal charges. We hope to collaborate with social services and other funding streams to help cover costs, making it accessible for everyone.

As I embark on this journey, I seek to raise capital to acquire such a property. Unfortunately, banks are unwilling to provide mortgages to individuals with limited life expectancy. Therefore, I am reaching out for investors or generous individuals willing to donate any amount, starting from just £1, to help make this dream a reality.
