Hello everyone, my name is Jack Aadnesen. First and foremost, I would like to thank you for your interest and curiosity, and with your help, what I'm going to accomplish. My goal is to provide a healing experience for the children and families impacted by the tragic event that took place on May 31st, when a van hit 4 children, sending them all to various hospitals. 2 had to be airlifted and taken to the Davis ICU. As of now, they are all making a decent recovery, however they are going through therapy, and 1 is a wheelchair and although has brain trauma and a long road of recovery is ahead of her. She is doing great and slowly on her way to getting into crutches!

I'm currently working with Sharon, the owner and operator of Santa's Enchanted Workshop that resides in Rescue CA. It is an immersive Santa experience where the children will talk to Santa, find their names on his nice list, learn how he travels around the world in one night and even have milk and cookies with the man himself. A really amazing feature about what Sharon has done, is it also incorporates elements of Christianity in it, and Santa even touches on why there is a star on the top of his tree and the origins of why presents are underneath at the end of the visit, totally option, but a very lovely touch. It comes complete with a holiday heirloom capturing the magic in their young eyes for years to follow. It is truly amazing and I am immensely humbled to be a part of this.

These are our friends, our neighbors, our loved ones, this is are community, and with your support, we will change these families lives for the better. It is also important to add that a huge part of the healing will be in the form a memory for a memory, an experience for an experience. So that when these children and families are older, they can look back and see how us, as a loving community helped, stood by them, grieved and loved them in their time of uncertainty and said, we love you and you are not alone in this.

Also, it has come to my attention that some think this is for the PineTop Montessori Preschool.

THIS IS FOR THE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. None of the funds collected are going to the school. Whatever is left over is going back to the families.
