In Feb 2023 whilst excited parents to be Daniel and Stacey went for a scan of their first baby boy, they were devastated to learn he would be born with a serious heart problem.

Daniel was diagnosed with hypoplastic heart syndrome which meant having to attend scans weekly during Stacey's pregnancy.

Once Daniel was born, it was clear both Daniel Snr and Stacey would be required at hospital for the majority of the time leading to Daniel losing his full time employment and Stacey already having lost her job due to being self employed and pregnant.

Daniel (Jnr) underwent OPEN HEART SURGERY at 11 days old in G.O.S.H! During the 10 weeks of recovery at GOSH he contracted Multiple Viruses in hospital including

* Sepsis twice

* Rhinovirus

* Norovirus

* NEC

During this very difficult time for Baby Daniel, Stacey and Daniel Snr found themselves (and their 2 daughters) become homeless and jobless with a very poorly baby to be cared for. Everything that could of possibly went against the family did.

During his 8 months on earth Baby Daniel was an incredibly strong, resilient baby who fought every step of the way! Unfortunately during a routine procedure something went wrong, leading to Daniel and Stacey losing their beloved baby.

What was supposed to be a quick, low risk procedure led to the families world being rocked and on 16/03/24 Baby Daniel left this world and a left behind a heart broken family.

Having spent every moment, every effort inside them and every penny to be at Baby Daniel's side has now resulted in not only a family in grieving but a family in debt.

Having to go back to normal life after losing a baby is something i personally could not imagine, but having to run up that already difficult hill with even more hurdles in the way of financial difficulties to me is something i wouldn't wish for anyone!
