My name is Seraj, uncle of a little angel called Kenan who has a message to you:
Help me. My name is Kenan, and I am writing this for my family. I should be in school right now, learning to read and write, playing with friends, and dreaming about my future. But war has stolen my childhood. Instead of learning, I am learning about hunger. Instead of playing, I am learning about fear. All I want is a chance to live, to learn, and to feel safe again.
For two long years, my family's life has been a relentless cycle of war, fear, and displacement. Today, we are humbly asking for your help.
With the beginning of the conflict, we were forced to flee to the south, moving from place to place in a desperate search for shelter and safety… a safety we never found. Despite the constant upheaval, we managed. We were resilient, and we never asked for help.
When a truce was announced, we rushed back to our city, clinging to the hope that our home was still standing. We found it, but as an empty shell. Everything that made it a home – the furniture, the appliances, even our clothes – had been stolen.
Just as we began to grapple with this new reality, the war returned, more ferocious than before. The siege tightened its grip, and the basic necessities of life became unattainable luxuries. Medicine vanished from the shelves, and clean water and food became a daily dream.
Three months ago, this nightmare claimed its first victim in our family. We lost our beloved father. He passed away from malnutrition and the lack of medical care in a time that has no mercy for the vulnerable.
Today, my family is on the brink of collapse. We have no income, no support, and nothing to fill our empty stomachs or treat our illnesses. We are in desperate need of urgent donations for:
- Food and Water: To survive the famine that is tightening its grip on us.
- Essential Medicines and Treatment: To manage chronic illnesses and prevent further tragedy.
- Urgent Surgery for My Mother: A critical procedure that she cannot wait for any longer.
- Basic Living Supplies: To make our damaged house a livable space once more.
We need at least $1000 per week to secure the bare minimum for a life of dignity. This amount is completely beyond our reach.
We are writing to you now because we are living through the darkest days of our lives. We are a family that has lost its safety, its home, its stability, and even its ability to provide a simple, dignified meal.
We have never asked for help before, but life has pushed us to an edge we cannot overcome alone.
Your donation, no matter how small, could be the difference between hunger and survival, between breaking down and carrying on.
Please, do not leave us to face this darkness alone.
You are this family's only hope.
