A Game Mixer Fund

A-Game is an informal group of Asian American pre-WGA and WGA writers. Since 2016 A-Game has brought talented AAPI writers together with executives and showrunners through mixers and lunches. To date, we have put on 20+ events within the last three years. During the pandemic, we switched to virtual events but we are looking to move back to add in-person events starting this fall. We will continue to do virtual events.  But in order for in-person events to be equitable to writers who are struggling, we need to raise $1,000.  Usually, writers pay for the cost of their lunch and the lunch of our guests, but with the pandemic being what it is, we wanted to make sure those who are most vulnerable in our community who can't afford to come out and network, get an opportunity to do so -- no matter what. That is why we are asking our community and especially those who are doing well during this time to contribute here to help make it possible.
