A fund to help Nick
Donation protected
My nephew Nick had his home broken into yesterday and sadly he lost quite a few of his possessions but did not have Insurance.
Nick was born with Cerebral Palsy and has had to fight an uphill battle his entire life. Nothing is ever easy for him but despite this he has lived his life as a compassionate, driven, incredibly sweet human being.
Due to his disability he had a hard time finding work, not because he wasn't capable of it but because people see his disability and not his drive and determination. He finally found a job he absolutely loves at the end of 2017 and some coward(s) took advantage of him being at work and stole his electronics and quite a few other things. He simply does not have the means to replace these and he likes to be independent and be self sufficient but this is more than he can do on his own.
Nick was not just robbed of his possessions but his feeling of safety and security in his own home. I am asking friends and family to share this and hopefully collectively we can help Nick replace his possessions. It will take much longer to give him back his feeling of safety and security.
Barb Chase, Nick McGrath-Hardy's aunt.
