I am a mother doing everything I can to create a safe, stable, and loving life for my daughter, Brooklyn. She is my entire world, and every decision I make is rooted in protecting her and giving her the future she deserves.

Over the past several months, I’ve been navigating a major life transition after leaving an unsafe marriage. Brooklyn’s father and I are still legally married but separated due to his infidelity and a pattern of psychological, emotional, and financial abuse that escalated into domestic violence. Leaving was necessary for our safety, but it also meant starting over with very limited support.

Since our separation, Brooklyn’s father has financially abandoned us. He is employed full-time and, to my knowledge, does not have major financial obligations, yet he has refused to contribute to his daughter’s basic needs despite my efforts to communicate and ask for help.

At the same time, I’ve been unable to work consistently due to the lack of reliable childcare, which has made maintaining stable income impossible during this transition. I am also currently navigating four active legal matters: divorce, custody and child support, eviction, and domestic violence all at once.

Despite everything, I am moving forward. I am scheduled to start a new job soon, which brings hope and a clear path toward stability. This fundraiser exists to help us bridge this critical gap by covering essential living expenses, childcare-related costs, and basic necessities while I rebuild a safe and independent life for Brooklyn and me.
