I’m reaching out on behalf of a very dear friend, Tracy, who has found herself in an incredibly difficult situation and needs help ASAP.

She is urgently looking for a 5+ bedroom home to rent, ideally $2,000 or under. Pleasant Grove would be best so her kids don’t have to leave their schools and friends, but she is open to other areas in Utah County if needed. Unfortunately, staying where they are now is no longer an option, and time is critical.

She is truly one of the best people I know — incredibly kind, keeps a beautiful and clean home, and is always feeding the neighborhood kids who wander in. She would be an absolute blessing to any home or landlord.

On top of this, she currently doesn’t have a car and has recently gone back to work full-time with very little support around her. If anyone has leads on affordable, reliable vehicles, that would also mean the world.

I have personally watched this beautiful soul restart her life once before and come out thriving — and I truly believe she will do it again. I can’t wait to watch her thrive in this new year.

They say when life gives you lemons, make lemonade

Even in the middle of all this, she is keeping her spirits high — and that alone speaks volumes about her strength.

If I had the means, I would help her myself, but I can’t do it alone. I am creating a GoFundMe with the hope of easing the burden of walking away from an established home and starting over alone with four little kids.

This is a big ask — and Tracy wouldn’t ask, which is why I’m doing it for her. I know that. But if it helps her secure housing and reliable transportation to get the kids where they need to be and back and forth to work, I’d call that a win for 2026. There are so many deserving people in this world, and she is absolutely one of them.
