A Fresh Start for Lylith in Austin

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lylith, a trans woman who became homeless due to threats of violence from my family. I had lost my previous job and was looking for a new one when things with my family escalated. I moved to Austin since there are more resources for those unhoused here. I discovered Yellow Bike Project, which has a project called Earn-a-Bike where you can volunteer and get a bike in return. After getting a bike, I began to do DoorDash to earn money, but not being able to prep meals makes eating expensive, costing a large portion of my earnings. I also really enjoyed volunteering at Yellow Bike and now volunteer as an assistant coordinator for three hours a week. I am hoping to save up and get a place to live alone or with a roommate. I am hoping those who can afford to offer a helping hand will be willing to help a girl get back on her feet. For anyone who can't afford to help, a simple share to your social media will be enough. Thank you for taking the time to read.
