Jessi & PJ here, cousins of Maya and Jon. To know these two and their incredible families, is to LOVE them. Full of joy, kindness, curiosity, love for animals, and silliness, they make our lives so rich with their love and friendship.

On Jan. 13, 2024 during a historic storm in Portland, a huge tree uprooted in their yard and crashed through their house. It damaged multiple rooms, leaving the house inhabitable. They were home at the time, and Jon miraculously sustained only minor injuries, which he is recovering from.

This fund is to help these two (newly engaged!!!) sweethearts with a little breathing room while they find their feet. Your contribution helps pad costs of their displacement, assists with lost work, aids medical bills, eases monetary anxiety, and gives them more time to figure out next steps for 2024.
