Hi my name is Ellie. I have tried making a financial aid post in the past before, but the person I was attempting to move in with wasn't exactly the best and turned out to be an abusive partner. I know people donated to the last one and I am eternally grateful for that, and I am sorry that didn't pan out. Things are going to pan out this time as things are looking a lot more hopeful.

Why do I need money?

I am a 25 year old transgender woman who is still living with her parents, and I have unfortunately been out of work for a few months due to conflicts with my previous manager and ongoing mental health issues that I am seeking therapy for. I am in a much more stable environment now mentally, but as a result of my sessions I have come to a realization about my living situation. I live with my parents, and I realize that in order to pursue true healing, I need to move out and carve my own path. I do not particularly want to get into the details, but my parents and I do not have the best relationship, and in order to salvage it I think distance and space would be beneficial to both parties.

What is the plan?

I have a partner I am going to find a place to live with, we both are capable of working and are quite determined, so when we find an apartment we will be very quick to find new work. We just need a little assistance to get the ball rolling so that we can have a life that's better, healthier, and safer for the both of us.

I really hate that it has come to this, and I really wish I didn't have to ask for help. I have always had issues asking for support or accepting gifts as I feel as though I do not deserve them. I can't really overlook that we desperately need help. I have been trapped in this house for my entire life and I need to get out of here. My partner is also similarly at the end of her rope in terms of her living situation. This would be life changing for us both and it would mean everything to us, to me, if you would consider donating.
