Hi my name is Chelsea Rollins. I'm 44 years old and a disabled army veteran. I have a service dog and her name is Roxy. She is a black Labrador who loves tacos.

We have been living in my car since April 2025 when we lost our home.
I have been working as a delivery driver.
Christmas Eve night, I was on my last stop of a 2 hr route when I hit a deer. It was bad, no one was injured thankfully.
I hit the deer head on the drivers side. Happened so fast. I saw it dart in front of oncoming traffic and missed that vehicle. I slammed on the brakes. Braced for impact. Kept the vehicle straight. Heard the crunch of my vehicle as I felt the seat belt tighten as we hit. Felt my dog fly into the back of my seat. Oncoming traffic had stopped. Saw the deer in their headlights struggle to get up but made it off the road. At this point I pulled off the road where I could. Looked back to check for other vehicles and the deer. Checked Roxy to see if she was alight. Tried to open my door but it wouldn't open.
Airbags did not deploy. Message popped up on the display to service airbags. I had to turn off the childlock to open the door somewhat. Got out to check the damage. It was hard to see in the dark.
This happens around 5 to 6pm. Called 911. State police were dispatched. The officer arrived. She was great. Made sure I was safe. Asked if I was hurt. Called a tow truck. Checked my documents. Asked if I had anyone I could call to get me. I told her my story. Once the tow truck arrived she gave Roxy and I a ride to a 24 hour gas station. Once there I was able to reach out and find a place for the night. A kind couple at the gas station gave us a ride there.
Now we don't know what to do without further help from kind people.

How I'm Disabled
Spine Injury
- Osteoarthritis of the Spine
- Spinal Stenosis
- Slipped Disc c6/c7 base of neck
I injured my spine when I was in the Army. My tailbone moved 2 1/2 inches to the right and my spine with it. I was 17 years old when this happened. Now that I'm 44 years old I struggle with everything. I applied for disability and my claim was denied by the VA.
Autism - ASD level 1
(High-functioning Asperger's)
- Difficulty with Communication and Social Skills
I've participated in over 15 medical studies in the past 3 years.
All needed a medical diagnosis which I did not have. I was then tested in order to be accepted.
