A Fresh Start for Ashley and Her Children

Hello, my name is Ashley Carter. I’m a recently divorced mother of five. Life has its ups and downs, with 2023 and 2024 being some of the most difficult for my family and me. From getting laid off to the loss of my Grandmother and most recently the loss of my younger Brother. Unfortunately, my five kids, our pup, and I had to move into a 2-bedroom apartment with my mom and younger sister. (Thank God for her.) During this time, I took a leap of faith and went back to school 9-5, Monday to Friday. I had no idea the struggle this would cause my family. I wasn’t able to save because the little I could work went to necessities on top of my school fees.

Now, after a long, tumultuous year, I can proudly say I’m a licensed Aesthetician, and my mom is ready for us to go, lol. My credit is horrendous, and after spending hundreds on application fees and being denied, God sent me one approval, against all the odds. With needing to come up with rent and deposit in such a short amount of time, any donations will help. I am truly grateful.
