We are raising funds to support our friend Andre O’Connor, who has faced more hardship than most people can imagine — and who is still fighting every day to rebuild his life.

Andre came to the United States from Russia at just 3 years old, where he was adopted and began a new life. Over the years, he has faced many challenges, and unfortunately Andre has experienced homelessness on and off for the past 16 years, including six consecutive years without stable housing. His life took a devastating turn after losing a custody battle for his children, a moment that sent him into a downward spiral. Despite everything, Andre has never lost sight of what matters most to him: getting back on his feet and reconnecting with his family.

Right now, our goal is to give Andre a real chance at stability. The funds raised will go toward helping him secure temporary housing, meet basic needs, and support him as we reach out to his family and help him find employment. A safe place to stay will give Andre the foundation he needs to start rebuilding his life with dignity and hope.

Andre’s 35th birthday is February 21st, and more than anything, we want this year to mark a turning point — not just another year of survival, but the beginning of something better.
