As Salaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakatuhu
My name is Aasimah Umm Aasiyah , and I am a Muslim mother to a 6-month-old baby girl. I am currently seeking help to leave an oppressive marriage and unstable living situation that has deeply affected my well-being, my mental health, and my ability to practice and preserve my Islam in peace.
For the past 3 years, I have lived under difficult circumstances and am currently residing on a fixed income with my daughter in a home with non-mahram men. As a Muslim woman and mother, this environment has become increasingly distressing and unsustainable for me and my child.
I am not asking for a handout without a plan. I already have employment lined up and am actively working toward rebuilding a stable and healthy life for myself and my daughter. At this time, I am seeking assistance with the upfront costs of securing safe housing — including first month’s rent, last month’s rent, and a security deposit.
My goal is to raise $5,000 so that I can safely transition into a stable environment where my daughter and I can live with dignity, peace, and security.
Any amount helps, and if you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping us in your adiyaat.
May Allaah reward everyone who helps ease the hardship of others.
Jazak’Allahu Khayr Ameen
Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another but that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah but that Allah raises his status.”
