I didn’t have “writing a GoFundMe from jail” on my 2025 bingo card, but life loves a plot twist. Without getting into details (because this is not a Netflix documentary), I’m currently locked up, which has put a temporary pause on things like working, making money, and choosing my own meals. Ironically, this all happened right after I finally landed a job and started convincing myself that life was turning a corner after a long stretch of couch-hopping and figuring things out day by day. Timing has never been my strongest skill.
The funds raised here will help cover basic necessities while I’m inside — yes, food is a thing in here, and no, it is not great — and more importantly, help me once I’m released. That includes short-term housing, hotel stays, and the kind of stability you need so you don’t immediately end up right back where you started. This isn’t a sob story or an attempt to dodge responsibility; it’s just the reality of trying to reset your life when you’re starting from behind the starting line. I’m doing my best to keep my head up, learn from this, and come out better than I went in.
If you’re able to help, thank you — truly. If not, no pressure at all. Even reading this far means more than you know. Either way, I appreciate the support, the laughs, and the reminder that I’m not doing this whole “life” thing completely solo.
