Hello, my name is Alaa Jamal, the wife of Mohammed Wahed.

I am writing to you with a heart full of pain and desperation. My family and I have lost everything in the recent war on Gaza.

Our home was destroyed, and with it, our olive oil farm — the family business that had been passed down for generations and was our only source of income. That land was not just trees and soil, but a part of our heritage, dignity, and survival. Today, it is gone.

We are now displaced, struggling to secure even the most basic needs. As a mother of four young children, I face the unbearable reality of not being able to provide them food, clean water, or a safe place to sleep. We have no home, no work, and no land.

For years, my husband and I lived cultivating our olive trees with love and care. Each harvest allowed us to survive and give our children an education. But now, everything has been reduced to ashes. With no means to rebuild on our own, I humbly turn to you for help.
