Before this war, I worked as a Software Engineer and lived a normal life with my family. But since the war began, everything has been destroyed. I lost my job after my workplace was damaged, and many people I knew and worked with were killed.

I am a father of three young children.

Since the beginning of the war, I have been forced to flee with my family from one place to another searching for safety. We left central Gaza and went to Rafah hoping to find a safer place, then we were forced to move again back toward central Gaza… but there is no safe place anywhere.

The war has never stopped. Every day, we wake up to the sounds of explosions, aircraft, and destruction around us. The bombing continues, the siege continues, and our suffering continues.

We are displaced, carrying only what little we can save from one place to another. We have lost our home, our work, our stability, and the simple life we once knew.

We are living through unbearable conditions:

❌ No safety

❌ No stability

❌ No medicine

❌ No reliable electricity

❌ No clean water

❌ No sense of security for our children

My children live every day surrounded by fear. They sleep and wake up to the sounds of war. As a father, my greatest wish is not for luxury or comfort — I only want to keep them alive and give them a safe place to sleep.

For more than two years, Gaza has been trapped in a war that has not ended. Every day brings new destruction, new displacement, and new suffering. Families continue to lose their homes, their loved ones, and their basic necessities.

In the middle of this ongoing nightmare, I try to remain strong for my children. I hold their hands, comfort them, and tell them that tomorrow will be better — even when I am afraid too.

"I am still standing not because I am strong, but because my children need me.

My only dream is to give them safety, a place to sleep peacefully, and a chance to live like other children."
