Dear friends and supporters, I want to begin by expressing my deepest gratitude for all the love, prayers, and support you’ve shown. Thanks to your generosity, we recently received good news — my grandson’s recent procedure went smoothly, and his doctors are pleased with his progress. His recovery from his Moya Moya condition is ongoing, and we remain hopeful as he continues to heal. For those unfamiliar, Moya Moya is a rare and serious cerebrovascular condition that affects blood flow to the brain. My grandson has been bravely facing this health challenge, and his recent surgery was a critical step in managing his condition and preventing further complications. We are thankful that the recent procedure went well and that he is on the path to recovery. However, amidst this, we are facing another difficult reality. Due to a court order, my grandson will have to spend eight weeks with his father, despite his wishes. This decision was made through the California court legal process, and we are doing everything we can to support my grandson emotionally and physically during this challenging time. I also want to clarify that the donations we have received are helping my daughter and grandson cover legal expenses and the costs of traveling back and forth from Buffalo to California. These funds are vital to ensuring my grandson’s safety, well-being, and ongoing medical needs. Thank you again for your kindness, prayers, and unwavering support.
