The family of Gennady and Masha Marmer, with two young children (ages 3 and 10), were taken from their home in the middle of the night after bombings started in Kyiv, Ukraine. This family had no time to pack or prepare and had to flee in the middle of the night with only one pair of clothes for each of them and little money. They escaped to Poland, made their way to Germany, and safely to the United States. Now they are trying to rebuild their lives in Baltimore, Maryland, with no money, little clothing, and no resources for their children.
