Hello my name is Yacy and I’m 18 years old. Today my family home burnt down while I was at a meeting with my local rotary and my parents were working.

My grandma was in the lift inside of the house and although unfortunately she ended up getting some nasty burns she’s doing better and luckily in the hospital right now getting help.

I have a mother a father and 2 younger sisters + my grandma our cat our dog and 3 rabbits (RIP to our dear parrots) and we all unfortunately lost basically all our lives in a matter of minutes.

We feel terrible to ask for any kind of money, but we need help and we acknowledge it. School was supposed to start tomorrow so we also have to get all of the necessary books back which is unfortunately very pricey especially being 3 kids. I’m sorry if it’s not written well, I’ll add all details I know and maybe a list of some more valuable things we lost but I’m just trying to start this and hopefully get a bit of support. Of course there are so many people so much worse off than us but we have nothing left the house was completely gutted and savings very little.
