A Muslim family from Leicester has embarked on the incredible journey of Hijrah to Saudi Arabia for the sake of Allah. Their decision was motivated by the acceptance of their son, into Makkah University, situated in the blessed vicinity of the Ka’bah. SubhanAllah, this prestigious opportunity will allow their son to pursue Islamic studies and become an Aalim, while also providing the family with a life rooted in faith and Tawheed. Despite careful planning and relying on their savings, the family has encountered unexpected challenges that have prolonged their journey. Without a valid ikama (residency permit), none of the men in the family are currently allowed to work in Saudi Arabia, leaving them unable to cover essential expenses like rent and food. As a result, the family is struggling to make ends meet and is now eligible to receive Zakaat.
