Last Thursday, our world was turned upside down. Dominic was involved in a devastating accident that left him in the ICU with three broken ribs, a bruised pancreas, and a hematoma. We are incredibly relieved that he was able to be released from the hospital on Sunday, but his journey to recovery is just beginning.

Dominic has learned a hard lesson from this experience, and he wants to caution everyone: please learn from his mistake. It only takes a split second for everything to change. Always practice safe driving and stay attentive behind the wheel—anything can happen in an instant. We are so incredibly lucky to still have him with us, and this has been a wake-up call for all of us.

While we’re grateful that Dominic had insurance to cover the other party involved in the accident, we still find ourselves facing significant medical bills—bills that he will be responsible for. On top of that, our car, which is our only means of transportation, was severely damaged in the crash. Now, our only other vehicle is also having issues, making it incredibly difficult to get Dominic to work and to take care of our family’s daily needs.

As much as we hate to ask for help, we are now in a position where we need it desperately. We are asking for your support to help us repair our car, cover the mounting medical expenses, and begin saving for a second car so that we can move forward and start to rebuild. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in our lives.
