A Family from G appeals for help

Hi, my name is Emma and I’m organising this campaign to help a young family who are refugees in Egypt. All donations will be sent directly to the family by bank transfer and the funds will be used to provide basic daily necessities and pay for rent and utilities.

My name is Diaa Abu Rida. I am a simple man with a small dream: to live with dignity and to see my daughter grow up in a safe world, where the warmth of home replaces destruction.

I was living with my wife in G. Amidst the destruction, my wife was carrying a little angel in her womb. We dreamed that our daughter would be born in her homeland, among her family. But... the what came took everything. We were forced to leave everything we owned behind: our home, our memories, our safety, and we ran for our lives.

We were evacuated from G and left for Egypt, exhausted, psychologically broken, with nothing but hope. We spent four days in Egypt without shelter, until my wife gave birth to our baby girl, in circumstances that were tragic to say the least.

Our baby girl came into this difficult world at a moment when we were on the brink of collapse.

Today, we live in extremely harsh conditions:

No work, no income, not enough food, not even flour.

Our baby girl has no milk, diapers, or nutritional supplements.

A house devoid of any basic necessities: no cleaning supplies, not enough furniture, and no comfort.

We are required to pay monthly rent, electricity, water, and gas bills.

The pressures are accumulating, and dignity is silently bleeding.

We never asked for a decent life at anyone's expense. We just wanted to live, to build a simple future, and to rejoice as our little girl grows up among us. But today... we are homeless, afraid, hungry, and our hearts are broken.

As I write these words to you, with tears streaming down my cheeks, I am not asking for pity, but rather for you to extend a hand to save us from complete collapse.

Every support, however small, makes a huge difference in the life of a family that is slowly collapsing.
