Hello lovely people,

 

Most of you will know the details of Sarah’s journey over the last couple of years.

 

After beating breast cancer and then going on to give birth to beautiful baby Jesse, Sarah received the devastating news in January 2022 that cancer had returned and had spread aggressively.

 

Just recently on April 14th, Sarah and Nick shared this update:

 

‘’Hi all, an update on yesterdays appointment- Sarah and I were given the latest scan results (scan was done on Saturday) and unfortunately the news is not what we would have liked. They said the disease has spread and aggressively progressed - unresponsive to the treatment received. Due to the speed at which it’s developing and Sarah’s current fitness/health they have decided that it’s not a good course of action to try alternative chemotherapy treatments due to her not being fit enough medically to receive the much more aggressive chemo. So with that said - we have a prognosis from our oncologist of weeks. But in light of our faith and complete trust in God - we will continue to walk in a manner to that of our calling in Christ.

 

Philippians 1:20-21

 

[20] as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. [21] For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.’

 

Despite this news Sarah has continued to stand firm on her faith which has been an incredible blessing to witness.

 

Sarah and Nick have 3 beautiful children, Gabe, Malachi and Jesse and we would love to bless them by raising the funds to allow them to have a family cast created, this will be a keepsake for Nick and the children to remember Sarah and always have a piece of her with them.
