Donate to a family after a tragic event

On Friday, May 23, 2025, at around 9:28 pm, my friend Edith Navar’s husband Fabian Limas experienced a tragedy on the 710 freeway. He was on his way home from a double shift when a careless person fired two shots, one striking his work truck and the other one striking him. Without going into personal details, this caused him to end up in ICU. Of course, no one deserves this senseless attack, but for it to happen to a man who works hard every day to provide for his wife and his three beautiful kids is tragic in all aspects. I'm asking that we all come together and donate in any way that we can. If anyone deserves support, it's definitely this family who has never asked for handouts or for help from anyone, no matter the struggles that have crossed their path.

Which is why I am making this GoFundMe for them. Without work in this country and government help, we all know that it is impossible to survive.

Thankfully, by God's grace, he is stable and in great spirits, but he is on a long road to recovery and therapy. Any donations will truly help and go towards bills; anything little can go a long way.

UPDATE: May 28, 2025

I have increased the goal due to an update on Fabian. As of right now he is completely paralyzed waist down. His collar bone is also shattered which is causing him to not have movement on his right arm. With time it will heal on his own and eventually he will regain movement. He has completed his first therapy session today. Unfortunately we don’t know what his comeback overall will be. But all we can do is hope for the best with time, patience, and Gods faith.
