On Wednesday afternoon March 22, 2023, my son was violently assaulted in a dollar tree.
My name is Shanai and as a single mom of three I’m swallowing my pride and writing this to reach out for help from my community during my families time of need.
My son’s attacker has been arrested and charges have been filed but this ordeal has left my son in the ICU with a pierced lung and liver - and left our family to figure out more complications than we can count.
